Exciting news! The MO CGA announced at the CGA Conference in Tampa that we will be bringing the International Locate Rodeo to Missouri!

“The International Locate Rodeo has been a great way to recognize damage prevention heroes and the entire utility protection industry since its inception. Bringing it to Missouri after being in Georgia and Texas seems like a natural fit for our state. With our progressive and creative approach to protecting underground utility infrastructure and raising awareness of those who work on or around underground utilities, we are confident that the International Locate Rodeo will be an overwhelming success and we look forward to partnering with individuals, industries, and organizations who share our mission” says Derek Leffert, Chief Executive Officer of the Missouri Common Ground Alliance.

This year, the International Locate Rodeo will be held in Springfield, MO on December 12th and 13th, 2019 in conjunction with the highly successful MO CGA Damage Prevention & Excavation Safety Summit. In addition to the traditional rodeo competition and locate from hell, the rodeo will provide training opportunities for competitors and showcase industry products and services in partnership with a wide variety of industry vendors. Competitors from all across the United States and North America will have an opportunity to compete against some of the best utility locators in the profession.

Additional details are still being worked out, but stay tuned for what’s sure to be yet another great event produced by the highly skilled and dedicated team of damage prevention professionals.
