News & Updates

The 2019 MO CGA Damage Prevention & Excavation Safety Summit and the International Locate Rodeo were HUGE SUCCESSES! Hundreds of contractors, utility personnel, locators, and others from more than 25 states and Canada traveled to Springfield to participate in the nation’s largest summit. We truly appreciate everyone taking time out of their busy schedules to attend. We’d also like to thank Paul Teutul Jr. of the Discovery Channel’s American Chopper TV series for helping us salute our nation’s veterans.

Pictures and videos will be posted here soon as well as on our social media platforms. If you see a picture you like and would like us to email it to you, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Also, we’d like to thank all who competed in the Excavator Rodeo hosted by MO CGA/LICA. Results for the Excavator Rodeo are as follows:

1st Place – Joe Newman – LaFollette Excavating – Time = 1:28

2nd Place – Mark Skinner – Alliance Water Resources – Time = 1:51

3rd Place – Brian McDermott – Kissick Construction – Time = 1:53

Congratulations to these skilled operators for navigating some difficult tasks and demonstrating their skills among the best!

Additionally, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to our vendor partners and volunteers. These businesses and individuals are what enable the MO CGA to continue to offer the free training opportunities and we are incredibly grateful for their support. We encourage our attendees to consider our Summit vendors when ordering new products and services.

Stay tuned here for some additional training opportunities coming your way in 2020. The 2020 Summit will be held on December 9th & 10th and registration will open the first part of October. If you’d like to get involved in the 2020 planning, please reach out and let us know.

Until then, BE SAFE!
