The 2025 MOCGA Summit Call for Presentations opens January 1, 2025 and ends 09-01-2025.
The purpose of the MOCGA Summit
Through education, reduce:
damages to underground utilities during excavation activities and
injury and fatality incidents to excavation / utility / construction jobsite personnel.
Presentation Topics
Presentations must convey information that helps employees and employers address the following topics:
- Utility damage prevention methods and new techniques
- Damage prevention technologies
- Legal aspects of utility damage prevention
- Construction employee safety
- Injury / fatality reduction strategies for construction employees
- Management / decisionmaker development topics
- Jobsite, fleet, and personal safety topics
- Safety program management topics
More Information
- All presentations are 1.5 hours in length.
- Certification presentations are welcome and encouraged.
- Live equipment operation sessions are encouraged.
- The MOCGA Summit instructor team are national safety experts and are the best in the United States. The MOCGA Summit is a national-level safety conference held in Springfield, MO.
- All instructors are volunteers and donate their time. $500,000 in safety training is provided free of charge EACH YEAR thanks to the generosity of Summit presenters. The Summit is provided free of charge to over 1,250 participants each year thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, exhibitors, and instructors. Class sizes can range from 40 to 400 in size.
- Instructors must have a successful and verifiable track record of reductions in utility damages and / or employee injuries.
